ECB Umpire Course – Tutor Recruitment          

The ECB Umpire Course was introduced in October 2023 and has been attended by over 1500 prospective umpires. The course was intended to be attractive to traditionally under-represented groups and we are pleased that 25% of those who have attended are either women or girls and 21% ethnically diverse people.

We are continuing to see a growing demand in the delivery of the ECB Umpiring Course across England & Wales and are now looking to recruit additional ECB Umpire Tutors, specifically to deliver the course in the following Counties:   Bedfordshire, Cornwall, Cumbria, Herefordshire, Kent, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Middlesex, Norfolk, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Suffolk, Sussex.

This will be a great role for people who have:

a passion for delivering excellent learner experiences from varying age groups, genders and cultural groups.
knowledge and understanding of the Laws of Cricket.
knowledge and understanding of current umpiring practice.
experience of supporting the development of umpires.
