in Herefordshire may be eligible for some new grants due to Lockdown 2.
Herefordshire Council have support which is available if club houses and premises have not been able to open as normal due to the second lockdown.
Herefordshire Cricket Lead Officer Steve Watkins said: "It is difficult to comprehend we are in a similar position to the one we found ourselves in earlier this year with the COVID pandemic, but hopefully there are some brighter days ahead with the discussions around a possible vaccine breakthrough and the prospect of a full season in 2021.
"The Government is producing financial support packages for a large area of businesses and individuals and we wanted to ensure that clubs were able to have sight of anything we thought could be relevant.
During the 28 day-lockdown period a single grant will be paid, which will be fixed.
The rate of payment for eligible businesses will be:
For properties with a rateable value of £15k or under, grants to be £1,334.
For properties with a rateable value of between £15k-£51k grants to be £2,000.
For properties with a rateable value of £51k or over grants to be £3,000.
