Introducing Jodie Slater

Herefordshire Cricket are delighted to announce the appointment of Jodie Slater as the new Cricket Development Officer with responsibility for Schools, Women and Girls Cricket.
Jodie was appointed last week after a successful 2nd Interview with Staff, Board Members and Club Officials and delivering to a class at Burghill Primary School.
Jodie attended Northumbria University studying Sport and Exercise Science where she graduated with a 2:1. She has further qualifications in Sports Massage and Mental Heath and gained the Level 2 in Coaching Children’s Cricket in 2016.
Jodie has experience of the Chance to Shine Schools programme while working for Northumberland Cricket and has held 2 summer roles with Yorkshire Cricket, firstly as an Activator for Yorkshire Diamonds and as a Women Girls Officer. More recently she has been working in the SEN Department of a Senior School in York.
Nigel Shore, Secretary at Bartestree & Lugwardine CC commented 'she is bursting with enthusiasm and will convey that to kids, a real breath of fresh air, looking forward to working with her.
