Get Ready for Cricket

Get Set Weekend powered by The Cricket Collective, which will take place up and down the country on the 23-24 March 2024.
The Get Set Weekend has for many years been a pre-season focal point for clubs up and down the country. In 2023, over 20,000 volunteers got involved across England and Wales, supporting their clubs and local communities.
This year, the Get Set Weekend will take place on 23-24 March 2024, and we are encouraging clubs to register for the #GetSetWeekend using the short form on www.ecb.co.uk/getsetweekend.
Please note, even though the #GetSetWeekend national weekend is taking place 23-24 March we appreciate this weekend may not be suitable for all clubs and you can of course run events on alternative dates.
The Get Set Weekend is powered by The Cricket Collective: the army of volunteers that make cricket happen. This season we want to encourage clubs to use the Weekend not only to prepare their physical facilities and grounds but also to inspire new and existing volunteers to get involved at their local club. We have produced a digital booklet and an interactive editable Task List to support this which clubs will receive once they have registered.
The ECB have agreed a partnership with Jewson where up to 1000 registered clubs*, can win store credit ranging from £25 to £500 to support them with their events over the weekend. Additionally, clubs will receive a #GetSetWeekend resource pack** in the post to help promote the activities, recruit new volunteers and decorate their club. The physical pack includes various sized posters, flyers, bunting and drinks coasters.
*Deadline for clubs to register and be entered into the prize draw to receive Jewson Account Credit up to the value of £500 is 23:59 on 29 February 2024 (Clubs can continue to register after this date but will not be entered into prize draw)
** Final deadline for clubs to register for the physical resource packs is 23:59 on 29 February 2024 (Clubs can continue to register after this date but will receive only a digital resource pack, not a physical resource pack)
