Herefordshire 50+ ECB County Championship

The ECB 50+ County Championship has been running since 1984 and has 39 Counties plus the Channel Islands participating each season. Placed in five geographical groups of eight teams, the best 16 Counties progress to the knockout stages with the final played in September.

At Herefordshire, we are currently going through a rebuilding phase due to the loss of several players prior to the start of last season and would always be looking to develop the squad for the coming season and beyond. Many players coming into age group cricket for the first time find a renewed enthusiasm to play competitive cricket with their peers and enjoy the camaraderie of the dressing room as well as new friendships.

We are delighted that Simon Hollands is able to return to the playing squad after a season out to recover from a health related issue and is now looking forward to playing regularly and taking on the role of Vice Captain this year.
