ECB Core Coach: new routes to developing your coaching

Interested in becoming a qualified cricket coach or developing your existing coaching skills? The ECB has introduced a refreshed approach to its Core Coach qualification, offering greater choice in how coaches learn and develop.

The programme builds the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to lead coaching sessions independently, with players’ needs at the heart of each session. Applications are open to anyone aged 17 and over, and previous playing or coaching experience is desirable but not essential. Coaches must be 18 and hold valid safeguarding training and an ECB DBS check to receive certification.
